Brandy Helms has been a part of Sandy's Team since 2002. She helps to make sure the office runs efficiently by following up with all buyer and seller leads. Cheryl Waguespack Leatherwood is an Ascension Parish native that comes to RE/MAX Excellent Properties with over 25 years of finance and customer care experience. She is a 2003 graduate of LSU with a bachelors degree in mass communication. Cheryl has been a buyers specialist with Sandy's Team for the past three years. Cheryl's passion for caring and meeting new people has been an asset Sandy's Team.

Laura Smith
Buyer's Specialist
Laura Smith joined RE/MAX Excellent Properties in 2004, and has quickly become one of the leaders on Sandy's Team. Laura, and her husband Steven, have formed "Team Smith" under Sandy, and they work as a buyer's agents specializing in new and existing home sales. Because of her outstanding service to both clients and co-workers, Laura was the 2005 recipient of the Cooperative Spirit Award for the RE/MAX Dixie Region, which covers a seven state area. Laura has trained with the top buyer's agents in the country under Coach Ken Goodfellow, and is still learning from Sandy Ogburn-Sandlin.

Steven Smith
Buyer's Specialist
Steven Smith joined the Sandy's Team in 2004 to work as an onsite specialist for Signature Homes. As the primary agent for the condominium sales, Steven was in charge of Windsor Village, a 106-unit community, and followed that up at The Plantation, a 48-unit community. In 2006, Steven, and his wife Laura, teamed together to form "Team Smith" and work as buyer's agents specializing in new and existing home sales. Steven has trained with the top new homes sales agents in the country under Bob Schultz, and is still learning from Sandy Ogburn-Sandlin, his broker.

Jonathan Diez

Jonathan Diez is an Ascension Parish native who has worked as a homebuilder for over 10 years and co-owns DK Construction Group. He attended Catholic High followed by Louisiana State University where he graduated with a degree in Entrepreneurship Management & Marketing. In 2004 Jonathan became a licensed Realtor.
As a buyer’s specialist, Jonathan looks forward to assisting clients with all of their real estate needs.

Bookkeeper
Karen Ferrara is the accountant for the company and oversees all aspects of RE/MAX Excellent Properties bookkeeping. Karen has been part Sandy's Team since 2004. She received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Louisiana State University in 1984 and has worked as an Accounting Administrator in the banking, golfing and computer industries before joining Sandy's Team in January 2004.
